FamilySearch.org has added a new FREE database titled "Utah, World War 1 Army Servicemen Record Abstracts, 1914-1918" that includes 324 people recorded as being born in Greece, and 16 people born in Turkey (several with names that sound Greek).
Description
This collection contains World War I statement of service cards (service records abstracts) for Utah servicemen for the years 1917-1918. These records are from the United States Adjutant General's Office. Microfilm of the original records are held at the Utah State Archives in Salt Lake City, Utah.
