The documentary film "Greek American Radicals - The Untold Story" written by Kostis Karpozilos and Kostas Vakkas, Director Kostas Vakkas, was released in 2013.   This film is available in Greek with English sub-titles on the following YouTube link -   https://vimeo.com/166715804 Description from IMDB - "The story of Greek-American radicalism from the era of mass immigration to the McCarthy period in the 50s. A history of collective struggles, radical ideas, exciting journeys and forgotten traditions during times of upheaval, social change." Very interesting!  I never looked into this area of Greek immigrant history before.  My immigrant ancestors all worked in private businesses i.e. restaurants or the fruit and vegetable business, and my maternal great-grandfather worked as a house painter.   They may have been sympathetic to the Socialist and Communist causes, but I never heard anything about it.  I will definitely be doing more research on this subject.
