The burial is part of a bilateral agreement calling for exhumation, identification, and re-interment at Albanian cemeteries of Greeks killed in the country. REMAINS OF FOUR GREEK SOLDIERS FOUND IN ALBANIA GJIROKASTRA – The remains of four Greeks who fought on the Albanian front in 1940 were located on Tuesday in the Albanian village of Dragoti, according to Albanian sources. The Greek consul in Gjirokastra, Vassilis Tolos, has rushed to the area to supervise the process of exhumation.
