THE SALT PEOPLE - GREECE IN CAMARGUE published in the GreekNewsAgenda.gr on March 6, 2015 The French documentary "Salt People (Greece in Camargue)," detailing the lives of Greek salt workers living in Salin-de-Giraud, France . . .  The “salt people’s” ancestors came mostly from the island of Kalymnos to work in the salt fields. It depicts how this small group of Greek diaspora members struggled financially and tried to establish a community far from home.
