FamilySearch.org has a new FREE database titled "Hawaii, World War I Service Records, 1917-1919" that includes 4 people born in Sparta, Greece. World War I Service Records for Hawaii WWI veterans who served in 1917-1919. Congress ordered that a service record for each person serving in 1917-1918 be created and provided to the Adjutant General of each state. That record consisted of a card that contained information abstracted from the service record of each veteran. Clerks in the War Department and Navy Department executed the work.
