In May of this year , researchers from the Samuel Proctor Oral History Program's Ottoman Greeks of the United States Project will be conducting interviews with second and third-generation descendants of immigrants to the US from regions of the former Ottoman Empire which constitute modern Turkey . In 1992 Mary Voultsos self-published a book titled GREEKS IN WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS – 1890-1910.  The information in this book was collected by Mrs. Voultsos prior to the availability of records on the internet.  When this data was eventually put on the internet by various genealogy companies it was undoubtedly indexed by people who were unfamiliar with Greek names.  This fact is what makes the book so valuable to researchers today.  She was a woman of Greek descent, someone who was familiar with Greek sounding names and spellings.  I also find it helpful to browse through the alphabetical lists of names to identify variations in spellings.   The following index is a guide to what names and information can be found in the book.
