This is an update to my original post on October 21, 2009 and includes the 109 names mentioned in this book along with the Table of Contents.

The book "All that Grief - Migrant recollections of Greek resistance to fascism 1941-1949" compiled by Allan & Wendy Scarfe. This was published in 1994 by Hale & Iremonger Pty Limited, Australia.  If you are interested in this book you can work with your local librarian to order it through the inter-library loan program in the U.S. and Australia.

There are 109 names mentioned in this book - you can view the names along with the Table of Contents below.

Here is the synopsis from the back cover - "All that Grief is a collection of memoirs by 13 Greek resistance fighters now living in Australia. Caught in the Nazi occupation and then the Civil War in Greece, these survivors recount their own experiences and tell how the republican movement was destroyed, in the first conflict of the Cold War, by forces put in place by Britain and the United States.

Of various political persuasions, all the contributors aspired to a democratic Greece and suffered as a result. They tell of cruelty and injustice, of betrayal and torture, of courage, sacrifice and grief: the agony of a nation torn apart by invasion and by civil war.

Few Australians know of the experiences that drove many Greek migrants to leave their homeland. This book provides a rare insight into the dreams and struggles of ordinary people caught up in a cause."
